Best Paper Award

There will be a Best Paper Award (BPA) for the best submitted paper. Potential candidates for awards will be identified during the normal review process. A special independent Awards Committee, the Best Paper Award Committee (BPAC,) will evaluate the candidate papers to select the award winners. The BPAC has the right to give the award to one paper, not to give an award, or to split the award among several papers. The BPA winner shall be announced during the ISM2006 award ceremony.

Best Student Paper Award

There will also be a Best Student Paper Award (BSPA) for the best submitted student paper. A special independent Awards Committee, the Best Student Paper Award Committee (BSPAC,) will evaluate the candidate papers to select the award winners. The BSPAC has the right to give the award to one paper, not to give an award, or to split the award among several papers. The BSPA winner shall be announced during the ISM2006 award ceremony.

Qualification and requirement for Best Student Paper Award:
To be eligible, the student must be the sole author of the paper, or the first author and primary contributor. A cover letter to the Best Paper Award Chair must identify the paper as a candidate for this competition three days after receiving the acceptance notification.
